Thomas Erdelyi (born Erdélyi Tamás; January 29, 1949 – July 11, 2014), also known by his stage name Tommy Ramone, was a Hungarian American record producer and musician. He was the drummer of the influential punk rock band the Ramones.

Richard Percy “Dick” Jones (February 25, 1927 – July 7, 2014) was an American actor who achieved some success as a child actor and as a young adult, especially in B-Westerns and television. He may be best-known as the voice of Pinocchio in the 1940 Walt Disney film Pinocchio.

Jones died after a fall at his home on July 7, 2014 from apparent natural causes. Dick Jones was 87 years old at the time of his death.

David “Dave” Legeno (12 October 1963 – July 2014) was an English actor, boxer, and mixed martial artist.

Legeno worked as a bouncer, debt collector, and wrestler, before becoming a boxer. His wrestling nickname was Lone Wolf. Legeno’s first major film role was in Guy Richie’s Snatch. Since then he has had roles in Batman Begins, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and Centurion. He played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. He also lent his voice to the videogame The Getaway: Black Monday.

Legeno’s body was found by a pair of hikers on July 6, 2014, in Death Valley, California, United States. Due to the remote area, a helicopter was called in to retrieve his remains. It appears Legeno died of heat-related issues and may have been dead for three to four days before his body was discovered.

Cause of death has not yet been released

The crew mechanic, he prides himself on being able to repair nearly anything. However, a car wreck has left him with metal pins in his ankle and a severe spinal injury which, due to lack of finances, he cannot afford to have surgically repaired. A Baltimore medical center donated a medical procedure to correct his back problem, which resulted in the need for yearly injections. During season 2 when operations were halted due to dirty water, Todd asked him to build a water filter. Instead he left the camp to spend a week with his girlfriend in a motel. At the end of the season the crew fired him, blaming him for missing their 100 ounce target.

Meshach Taylor (April 11, 1947 – June 28, 2014) was an American actor. He is best known for his Emmy-nominated turn as Anthony Bouvier on the CBS hit sitcom Designing Women (1986–93), and for his portrayal of Hollywood Montrose, a flamboyant window dresser in the box office hit and cult classic romantic comedy film Mannequin. He played Sheldon Baylor on the CBS sitcom Dave’s World (1993–97), appeared as Tony on the short-lived NBC sitcom Buffalo Bill opposite Dabney Coleman, and appeared as the recurring character Alastair Wright, the social studies teacher and later school principal, on Nickelodeon’s sitcom, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.

Taylor’s movie roles included a flamboyant window dresser in the 1987 comedy-romance Mannequin as well as Damien: Omen II.

Taylor died from colorectal canceron at his home in Altadena, California.  Taylor is survived by his wife Bianca Ferguson Taylor, his daughters Tamar Lashae, Yasmine Taylor, Esme Taylor, his son Tariq Taylor, his mother Hertha Ward Taylor, his sister Judith Taylor, his brother Hussain Taylor and his four grandchildren.

Robert Dwayne “Bobby” Womack (March 4, 1944 – June 27, 2014) was an American singer-songwriter and musician. An active recording artist since the early 1960s, when he started his career as the lead singer of his family musical group the Valentinos and as Sam Cooke’s backing guitarist, Womack’s career spanned more than 50 years and spanned a repertoire in the styles of R&B, soul, rock and roll, doo-wop, gospel, and country.

Womack wrote and originally recorded the Rolling Stones’ first UK No. 1 hit, “It’s All Over Now” and New Birth’s “I Can Understand It” among other songs. As a singer he is most notable for the hits “Lookin’ For a Love”, “That’s The Way I Feel About Cha”, “Woman’s Gotta Have It”, “Harry Hippie”, “Across 110th Street” and his 1980s hit “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”.

Bobby Womack died on June 27, 2014 at age 70. Though the cause of his death is currently unknown, he suffered diabetes, prostate cancer, heart diseases, colon cancer, pneumonia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Caleb Bankston, a former contestant on the “Survivor” reality show, has died in a railway accident in Alabama. He was 27.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bill Yates says Bankston, who was working at the Alabama Warrior Railway in Birmingham, was thrown from a train in a partial derailment on Tuesday.

Eli Herschel Wallach (December 7, 1915 – June 24, 2014) was an American film, television and stage actor whose career spanned more than six decades, beginning in the late 1940s. Trained in stage acting, which he enjoyed doing most, he became “one of the greatest ‘character actors’ ever to appear on stage and screen,” states TCM, with over 90 film credits. On stage, he often co-starred with his wife, Anne Jackson, becoming one of the best-known acting couples in the American theater.

Wallach received BAFTA Awards, Tony Awards and Emmy Awards for his work, and received an Honorary Academy Award at the 2nd Annual Governors Awards, presented on November 13, 2010.

Kemal Amin “Casey” Kasem (April 27, 1932 – June 15, 2014) was an American disc jockey, radio personality and actor, best known for being the host of the music radio programs American Top 40, American Top 20, and American Top 10 from 1970 until his retirement in 2009, and for providing the voice of Norville “Shaggy” Rogers in the Scooby-Doo franchise from 1969 to 1997, and again from 2002 until 2009.

Casey Kasem dies on June 15, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington.  Casey Kasem was  82 years old at the time of his death.

Illness lead to his death

On June 6, 2014, Kasem was reported to be in critical but stable condition at a hospital in Washington state, receiving antibiotics for bedsores and treatment for high blood pressure. It was revealed that he had been bedridden for some time.

Judge Daniel S. Murphy ruled that Kasem had to be hydrated, fed, and medicated as a court appointed lawyer reported on his health status. Jean Kasem claimed that he had been given no food, water, or medication the previous weekend. Kerri Kasem’s lawyer stated that she had him removed from artificial food and water on the orders of a doctor and in accordance with a directive her father signed in 2007, saying he would not want to be kept alive if it “would result in a mere biological existence, devoid of cognitive function, with no reasonable hope for normal functioning.” Murphy reversed his order the following Monday, after it became known that Kasem’s body was no longer responding to the artificial nutrition, allowing the family to place Kasem on “end-of-life” measures over the objections of Jean Kasem.

Ann Bradford Davis (May 5, 1926 – June 1, 2014) was an American television actress.

Davis achieved prominence for her role in The Bob Cummings Show (1955–59) for which she twice won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, but she was best known for playing the part of Alice Nelson, the housekeeper in The Brady Bunch series (1969–74).

She won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series twice out of four nominations for this role. On February 9, 1960, Davis received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Davis died on June 1, 2014, from a subdural hematoma after a fall in her bathroom. Sources close to her say she was in excellent health for an 88-year-old woman and her death was a complete shock.
